Ho Hum... Last week was a LONG week in DC. Not to mention a HOT one. With Highs near 100 on several days in a row, everyone felt the heat. In fact I heard the Washington Monument even melted down a few inches.... OK so maybe not...
Sailor got his big promotion. He is very happy.. WHOOHOO.
Several boy scouts needed medical attention because of the heat.
The dog got a new bone.
Some tourist today, asked me who would be in a motorcade with a bunch of police cars and dark vans. I asked if there were motorcycle cops and an ambulance following; she said "Yes", I told her "The President" - You would have think she won lotto - she was so excited! --- GEEZ; go back to IOWA!
We lost power for almost 2 hours Tuesday night. Damn! How in the hell did those people live before Satellite TV & Tivo, the Internet and A/C ?
Did alot of previewing homes. The market is slowing a bit - stabilizing. A good thing for buyers who have been scared out of this out-of-control market.

Next week brings, Sailors Dad on vacation.
Upcoming - a trip to Maine at the end of August and a trip to Key West at the end of September.
