So the crazy thing about Real Estate is that some weeks can be a challenge to keep busy. Those every important, yet not exciting tasks like staying up on industry news, previewing new properties on the market and doing lead generation and marketing.
That stuff is fun for about 5 minutes.
Then there are those other weeks. This past week I had 2 current clients want to see properties, picked up 2 new clients and picked up a wonderful couple who was looking for a rental property. Whew!
The Spring Buyer season looks like it may transform into a summer buying season. Several of my colleagues, whom typically do not have many summer buyers- suddenly do have summer buyers. Interest rates may be up, but with prices keeping even with last year and many more choices on the market for buyers; the buyers are coming out.

So besides work, we also had a very busy week socially. Tuesday we had a wonderful dinner at Mama Ayeshas in Adams Morgan. YUM! It was a celebration for my best gal-pal Chad. He turned 29 - same age as me and Cher's 2nd nose.
Wednesday we did our normal Wednesday night thing. Bar Trivia with friends.
Thursday was a yummy Ethiopian dinner with my Cousin Carlos and his wife Patti (whom we all so love).
Friday I caught up with my friend Kristian, whom I have not seen in months! Yummy Chinese in Rosslyn. Friday night - I stayed IN - Sailor went out dancing with a different group of friends.
Saturday eve we were invited to our friend Ryan's place for cocktails and Pride Parade watching. It was a evening of cocktails and feather boas and more cocktails.
Sunday morning - nursing a bit of a hang over.
WHEW!!!! Is that enough for one week?!
One thing that my Dad commented on last week and Sailor and I are so thankful for is we have a ton of friends. They are all great people too!
Living in Florida it was so hard to meet folks. Florida is kinda weird. We had like 3 people we could say were close friends and a handful of others that were friends.
DC is just a different land. Now some will say that it still has some of the East Coast attitude - its not like the Midwest where people are friendly. True in many instances - but we have been lucky to find the right crowd in DC.
OK - well time for 2 more Motrin and George Stephanopoulos.
Cheers!
